Hello everyone, and welcome to ULT Coffee Roasters! We're excited to share our story with you. We're a coffee company based in Osaka, Japan, and our main goal is to create amazing coffee experiences. We focus on excellent quality, true flavors, and new ideas in everything we do. 

Our official company profile says it best:

Rooted in excellence, authenticity, and innovation..." We believe coffee is more than just a drink; it connects people. Osaka, a lively and friendly city, is our home. It's a place where coffee growers, baristas, and coffee lovers can meet and share their passion for the best coffee. 

 

Our Team: The People Behind ULT 
ULT Coffee Roasters started because a few passionate people wanted to make coffee better.

Our company was founded by: 
● Boram Um: A World Barista Champion and coffee producer. He's our Founder. 
● Takahiro Tsujimoto: Our Co-Founder. 
● Marcia Yoko: Our Director.

These experts know a lot about coffee, both in Japan and around the world. As our About Us section explains:

Champion and producer, alongside his partners—renowned coffee experts..." 
Their knowledge and drive for perfection guide us. They help us choose special beans and make sure every cup shows off the coffee's origin and unique taste. 
Their deep involvement in every step, from farm to cup, makes ULT special. 

 

 

What We Do: Great Coffee, Great Experiences 
Our main job is simple: make coffee better and give you a great experience. We started ULT Coffee Roasters because we had "a shared passion for excellence," as mentioned in our About Us section. We do this by combining expert knowledge with a love for different cultures and new methods. It's not just about making coffee; it's about "creating moments that connect people through flavor, craftsmanship, and passion," which is our mission. We want to create places and events where people can connect over their love for great coffee. This includes our stylish coffee bean shop, where you can pick out special beans, and our "ULTimate Experiences" like special events and collaborations. Everything we do is to help you enjoy and learn more about the wonderful world of coffee. 

 

Our Core Ideas: What Guides Us 
Every choice we make, every bean we pick, and every person we meet is guided by these core ideas: 

1. Special and Unique: We only offer coffees that stand out. We look for 
competition-level coffees, rare small batches, and create special blends that are true to their taste. 

2. Skill and New Ideas: We always want to learn and try new things in coffee, from how we find beans to how we roast and brew them. Our team's skill and our new ideas help us offer unique experiences. 

3. Simple and Smart: We mix simple elegance with deep knowledge. This means our offerings are easy to enjoy but also rich in flavor and story. Our "Blends Series," for example, is made for "consistency without compromising complexity." 

4. Respect and Passion for everyone in coffee: We respect everyone involved with coffee – the farmers, the roasters, the baristas, and you, the customer. We want to build a community where everyone shares a love for coffee. 

Our Future: Making a Big Impact 
We have big plans for the future. Our vision is to "redefine coffee excellence by offering exceptional and unique selections—where authenticity, precision, and innovation come together to create a lasting impact on the global coffee community," as our vision statement says. We want to push boundaries and help more people appreciate coffee. We see ULT as a leader in coffee innovation, bringing people together through amazing coffee. As our founder, Boram Um, says: "At ULT, we pursue the purest expression of varietal and terroir in every cup." This idea drives us to explore every flavor, every origin story, and every possibility in each coffee bean.
